PAS in the Student Centre, Kedleston Road Atrium

The Programme Advisory Service (PAS) is here to help you understand how Derby's credit accumulation (including referrals and deferrals) and regulations work.

We're based in the Student Support Centre, in the upper Atrium at Kedleston Road, and our staff can give you guidance on progressing through your studies.

We can help you to:

  • work out how many credits you need to qualify for an award
  • help you understand your results letter
  • find out what's involved in changing from full time to part time study - how this will affect your fees or your progression towards your award
  • or answer any other question about your studies.

We also offer you a quick referral service to other departments in the Student Support Centre who can give you specific, specialist advice.

If you're a joint honours student, we'll support you through the whole of your study. We can advise you on enrolment; the modules available for your particular pathway in Joint Honours and how to decide whether you want to do a Major, Joint or 3-Minors degree.

We can also make an appointment for you to meet with a joint honours Academic Counsellor.
