Submitting your assignments
Information about handing in assignments at Buxton
- Your lecturer sets the dates for handing in assignments.
- Assignments are submitted to Student Administration in room DO/109 (remember to attach a front sheet and a Turnitin report).
- You can get Assignment Front Sheets to attach to your assignment from Student Administration. Why not collect one and complete it beforehand to save time at hand in?
- Assignment hand in times are:
- Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm
- Friday 9am - 4pm
- Many other students will have the same hand in date and it is likely there will be a queue, so leave plenty of time to submit your assignment before Student Administration closes.
Submitted your assignment late ?
If you don't submit your assignment on the date set by your lecturer the following regulations apply:
- You can submit up to 7 days after the submission date but the maximum grade you can achieve is a D- and it's at the lecturer's discretion if you receive feedback on the assignment.
- If you hand in later than 7 days after the submission date you automatically fail the assignment and are not usually entitled to any feedback. If you fail an assignment and need advice please contact the Programme Advisory Service Buxton.
- If you know in advance that you can't complete the assignment please contact the PAS and we'll advise on regulations if you decide to apply for Extenuating Circumstances.
- Remember to use UDo - which will alert you to all the key dates in the academic year such as when your grades and exam dates become available online.
