Programme Advisory Service at Buxton
The Programme Advisory Service (PAS) is here to help you understand how the University of Derby Buxton's credit accumulation (including referrals and deferrals) and regulations work.
We're based in the Student Administration office, first floor of the Dome in DO/109, and our member of staff, Sarah Duffy, is trained in being able to give you additional guidance on progression through your studies.
So if you are aren't sure about the number of credits you need to qualify for an award, need help understanding your results letter, want to think about changing from full time to part time study but aren't sure how this will affect your fees or your progression towards your award, or any other question about your studies next year: don't worry, we can help.
We can also offer you a quick referral service to other departments on the Buxton campus who can give you specific, specialist advice if you need it.
PAS also has information about academic staff availability and will be able to arrange appointments for you with members of academic staff from your course if you need to see them.
