West Nottinghamshire College serves the people of Mansfield, Ashfield and beyond by providing the best quality education and training for all ages and abilities from 14 upwards.
The College has developed programmes across a wide range of general and vocational programme areas, in fact everything you would expect a 'typical' further education college to offer, from computing to catering, maths to media studies, social care to sport.
Around 20,000 learners per year study College programmes. Around 2,500 are full time, with the remainder studying on a variety of part time, day, evening, or flexible provision.

Enrolment
Students apply to West Nottinghamshire College and enrol in September and January. Student application and enrolment data is forwarded to UoD for input into the UoD Student Records System and a letter providing login details to the University's online virtual learning enviroment (UDO), web links to the UDo Student Guide (inc useful contacts) and the Universities 'Rights, Responsibilities and Regulations' document along with student ID cards are sent to the students.
Assessment
Student results are considered at assessment boards that take place in February and June. The Assessment Board considers student progression and award.
Award Ceremonies
Awarding students are invited to attend the West Nottinghamshire College HE Graduation Ceremony which is held at Kelham Hall in November. Professor John Coyne, Vice Chancellor of the University of Derby confers University of Derby awards at this Ceremony.
