Leeds Professional College offers a wide range of courses at foundation, undergraduate and professional levels. The college also offers a number of short-term professional and practical courses with its commitment to building the local community's knowledge and skills, and making them valuable and worthy members of a respected society.
Leeds Professional College aims to provide high quality education. To achieve its objective, the college has appointed highly qualified and experienced staff who can equip students with the latest professional knowledge and skills in their chosen field, but who can also provide hands-on practical experience.
The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a two semester programme aimed at international students that need a bridging course to first year undergraduate study at the University of Derby. The programme equips international students with the necessary academic skills and conventions that they are possibly missing due to a difference in education systems and expectations.

International Foundation Programme
Enrolment
Students apply to Leeds Professional College. Student application and enrolment data is forwarded to UoD for input into the UoD Student Records System and a letter providing login details to the University's online virtual learning enviroment (UDO), web links to the UDo Student Guide (inc useful contacts) and the Universities 'Rights, Responsibilities and Regulations' document along with student ID cards are sent to the students.
Assessment
Student results are considered at assessment boards that take place in May and November. The Assessment Board considers student progression and award.
