Castle College Nottingham was formed by the merger of Broxtowe College and the People's College in 2006. As a larger college it's able to offer more choice, progression opportunities and locations for study. With large redevelopment projects already underway and more planned, the College is committed to providing the best facilities for its students.
The College is currently investing £85 million into improving facilities throughout its campuses, including a £35 million redevelopment of its flagship campus on Maid Marian Way. As well as providing Nottingham with world class skills, learning resources and the regional centre of excellence for science, technology and engineering, the highly original mixed use building will combine the College with shops, offices and flats which will complement its historic surroundings.
Other exciting ventures include a makeover for the Chilwell campus in Beeston and a new Construction Centre on London Road, Nottingham. The College also has Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status in travel and tourism and health sciences.
