Nepali Sherpa holds talks with students
Nepali Sherpa holds talks with Adventure and Outdoor students on trekking developments within Nepal

In February, Kalsang Sherpa and Susie Sherpa-Baer took time out from rescue work and guiding in Nepal to come into the Buxton campus to discuss current issues in adventure tourism management within Nepal.
Kalsang along with Susie, organise expeditions for a variety of age groups and skill levels through their walking and climbing company. This visit provided our students with firsthand feedback from people who have spent 20 years working as guides for Nepal and who have seen the changes that have resulted from an increase in adventure tourism provision in the region.
