Ideally suited to those who are keen to learn more about the use of technology in teaching and learning, this short course offers a valuable opportunity to explore the three ‘C’s of the 21st century within the context of teaching: Curiosity, Curation and Community. You will benefit from learning about the best practice use of technology to support the three ‘C’s of innovative 21st century teaching.

This course offers a practical introduction to the use of digital technologies for educators. As you embark on your digital journey, you will look at themes such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) or the application of social media to support learning. You will also explore new and emerging technologies whilst considering their uses within teaching and learning and discovering new digital horizons with like-minded professionals.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion from the University of Derby to recognise your achievement and your commitment to continuing professional development (CPD), allowing you to provide evidence to a professional body or to your employer or simply for inclusion in your personal development portfolio.

You will also gain a digital badge for each unit that you complete, recognising your efforts for each stage of the course.
