I wanted to enhance my professional skills and knowledge in relation to education.

How would you describe your online student experience?

It was a rewarding experience. As an online student, I felt like I was in a virtual classroom. My personal tutor really made a positive impact on my academic and professional development. Studying online with other students in my class has really helped me to come to grips with academic expectations.

What did you find particularly beneficial?

I would say that the learning tools provided by the tutor were really beneficial. I could not have believed that online learning would have been so intriguing and edifying.

What would you say to anyone considering an online degree at Derby?

Studying online at the University is a wonderful and rewarding experience, since it allows you to study and work at the same time.

How has your degree helped your career?

Well, I would say that my online degree has contributed to the enhancement of my profession. Acquiring my degree helps me to be more skilful and confident in whatever task I set out to do.
