Valerie Dalling

SILENCE forms the first part of an ongoing project 'Between friends', as a visual artist Dalling uses photography to capture the thoughts and feelings of Tracy, a friend who has undergone treatment for breast cancer, following her diagnosis in 2010.

Stevie Davies

Construction and manipulation techniques are key to Stevie's fused glass practice. All work is designed and handmade by layering sheets of glass with wire details, which Stevie first creates by using manipulation techniques including wrapping, crotchet and lace. These layers of metal inclusions add texture within the glass, and additional colour is added with further wire work after firing.

Veronica West

The prints on show have been made through the use of solar plate printing methods, and the use of laser-cutting techniques to 'bite' into acrylic plates. They are part of West's research into the parallels between the working processes employed by artists, and the spontaneous approaches of children to making, particularly in the early pre-school period.
