Work On Buxton Dome Entrance Underway

Work on a high quality upgrade to the steps and access ramp at the main entrance to the Dome is set to commence today, Monday August 8 2011.
The work is scheduled to take several weeks to complete and will inevitably cause some disruption, however the University's Estates Team is exploring ways of minimising this.
In the meantime please be advised that access to the Dome for the immediate future will be via the laundry lane and the kitchen block entrance adjacent to the boilerhouse.
I can also advise that work is shortly to start on a major upgrade to DO110.
