The event features textile design work, inspired by Sudbury Hall's decorative plasterwork, by students. They will also be demonstrating weaving and knitting on hand-operated machinery at a workshop in the Hall's Long Gallery, and giving members of the public a chance to learn how.

Warps and Wefts is at Sudbury Hall, off Main Road, Sudbury, Ashbourne, until Sunday (October 17), from 1.00pm to 4.30pm daily.

The event is free. Entry to the Hall is free for National Trust members and, for non-members, £6.70 for adults and £3.40 for children.
