UDC Opens Doors To Local Businesses

Local business professionals got a whistle-stop-tour of the University's state of the art Enterprise Centre earlier this month (October), when they were invited to a VIP lunch and networking event.
Movers and shakers from Derby were given a tour of the £8million corporate venue, home to UDC, which includes impressive conference rooms and an executive boardroom with video conferencing. Peter Rayner, Head of Business Services at UDC, then gave a presentation, speaking about the venue's ambitious plans for the future.
After the formalities guests enjoyed fine cuisine prepared by resident chef Nigel Adams, while they considered the prospect of hiring a room at the Enterprise Centre for their own events.
Peter said: "The event was a huge success and we have already received a high volume of enquiries, with many people using the facilities since the event."
