Students Have Say In Big Conversation

Students across the University are being urged to join in 'The Big Conversation' with the Students' Union, to shape its future direction.

UDSU President James Beckett said: "Everyone in the Students' Union works incredibly hard on behalf of our students but we want to make sure that our activities really reflect what our members feel our priorities should be. This is why we started The Big Conversation survey.

It's an opportunity to talk to all of our students whether they are on campus or online, and to our stakeholders at the University and in the wider community, to get a feel of how they rate our work over the last year and how we can improve.

"We're asking students what we do well and what we are not so good at. We're also trying to discover what students want us to focus on.

"The results of The Big Conversation will feed into the Union's plan for the next three years, and we're excited to hear what people think."

UDSU has also been running its elections to decide its Elected Officers for 2013/14 over the past few months, and the results will be announced on www.udsu.co.uk during March (2013).
