Students Asked For Their Points Of View

From today (January 30) students across the University will have the opportunity to feed back about their experience at Derby through a number of surveys.
The University's Student Experience Team will be running the National Student Survey (NSS), the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES), Feedback and a Further Education survey for our Buxton College students over the next few weeks.
University Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Philip Plowden said: "We want as many students as possible to complete these surveys and give us some valuable feedback.
"All of the surveys can be found and completed at www.derby.ac.uk/feedbacksurvey, and we are also running roadshows at each site through February."
Anyone who completes the NSS, Feedback or PTES during February will put themselves in with a chance of winning £100.
The NSS survey provides the University with important information about the student experience at Derby, but also enables it to benchmark itself against other institutions across the sector.
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey gives the University the opportunity to use similar questions to the NSS to examine the particular experiences that its postgraduate taught students have.
The Feedback survey allows the University to gain a valuable insight into both positive and negative aspects of the student experience before they reach their final year. This enables it to make changes and understand trends early on.
