Following the University-wide Staff Engagement Survey which took place over the summer months, the Human Resources Team is working hard to develop future plans of activity around the main themes that were drawn out.

Martyn Holden, Director of HR, said: "We firmly believe that happy staff equates to happy students. The Survey produced a number of important areas that we must focus on during the coming year to ensure staff engagement and satisfaction continues to move in the right direction.

"To do this we plan to work with colleagues across the whole University to find solutions to any issues that do exist, and to give individuals the desire and authority to make changes and resolve any local problems that they feel impact on their working lives."

A number of interactive Vision to Action sessions have been scheduled for the coming months where staff can contribute to the overall direction of the University. For more information visit UDo.
