A masseuse who trained at one of India's most exclusive hotels is bringing a unique 'Out of India' massage experience to the Devonshire Spa from February.

Rohit Justa trained and worked at India's luxury Taj Resort Hotels and Palaces chain, including the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai, and is highly skilled in traditional Indian deep massage therapies.

Amanda Garrington, Spa Co-ordinator, said: "We're so excited to offer this unique treatment to clients. It is a holistic experience that deeply relaxes both the body and the mind and is exclusive to the Devonshire Spa for a short time."

The massage begins with an 'elephant walk'; where the masseur uses their body weight to add pressure to parts of the leg and back. It then takes in the whole body - from pressure points on the soles of the feet, to the head and face, encouraging deep muscle relaxation and a calm mind.

The traditional Indian massage experience will be available as part of a day package from Saturday February 5. Call the Devonshire Spa on 01332 594408 to book or for more information.

Rohit Justa is currently studying towards an MA in International Spa Management at the University of Derby Buxton.
