New Face In Finance

The Finance Team has welcomed their new Head of Financial Systems and Assurance.
David Warlow joined the University on November 15, taking responsibility for the Finance Systems Team.
He joins the University from Co-op Financial Services, where he was Management Information Manager. He has a wealth of experience gained in the private sector including former positions with Price Waterhouse Coopers and Rolls-Royce.
David said: "Inbetween my interviews for the role I brought my kids along to an open day.
"We explored the buildings and had a kick about on the rugby pitch. They agreed with me that this would be a fantastic place for Dad to work. Having now completed my first week, this is indeed the case and I'd like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome.
"On the work front there are clearly challenges and opportunities ahead for the University. The ongoing provision of accurate, timely and more insightful information will help ensure we manage these effectively.
"This will require numerous cross-functional teams to operate together effectively and I am particularly looking forward to working with managers and teams across the University."
