Students of an elite Indian school of culinary arts will soon get a taste of a British university education after the Mumbai based ITM School of Culinary Arts signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Derby Buxton.

This partnership will enable ITM students to transfer to the final year of Buxton's world class BA (Hons) degree in Professional Culinary Arts in the UK, or continue at ITM in Mumbai and complete a degree accredited by the University of Derby Buxton.

Sarah Rawlinson, Assistant Dean of the University of Derby Buxton, said: "We are delighted to join together with India's ITM School of Culinary Arts through this memorandum.

"We look forward to working together to produce highly skilled chefs fully prepared for the world of work thanks to the world class teaching and experiential learning environments we shall provide together."
