Photos featuring cars, babies, landscapes and a range of other images can now be seen as part of a free exhibition by University of Derby Applied Photography students.

Images by part-time students on the Foundation degree (FdA) in Applied Photography went on display at the University's Markeaton Street site in Derby this week (w/c July 30) and will be there until Friday September 7.

The Applied Photography programme encourages students to develop a wide range of technical and creative photographic skills, with the emphasis on learning developed through work, either for an employer or as a freelance.

Their latest show contains a mix of photos featuring portraits, products, landscapes, mothers and babies, art, music, cars and close-up work.
