Buxton To Host Hospitality Academics At Prestigious Conference

The University of Derby Buxton is delighted to announce that it has successfully won a bid to host the Council for Hospitality Management Education's (CHME) 2014 Annual Research Conference.
Hundreds of delegates who work in the teaching of hospitality management in further and higher educational institutions will present the very latest research in the area, and hear from keynote speakers at the event, planned for spring 2014.
The Strategic Director the University of Derby Buxton, Dr Peter Dewhurst, said: "We are delighted to announce that we have secured this prestigious hospitality conference.
"It will be a fantastic opportunity not only for staff and students to deliver papers and participate in the conference, but it also presents a fabulous opportunity for our Events, Hospitalityand Culinary Arts students to showcase their talents by helping to organise and deliver this high profile conference; by so doing it also helps to cement our commitment to providing real world learning experiences for our students."
