Curriculum Manager, Val Blundell, is given a manicure by Level 2 Beauty student Sophie Lee.

Buxton College beauty students spread Christmas cheer and goodwill by giving free treatments to staff and students of the University of Derby Buxton and the College this week.

As part of their Level 2 Beauty Therapy NVQ, the students gave 'lunch break' manicures and pedicures to help students and staff get beautiful for the Christmas party season, and helped to ease away the stresses and strains of Christmas with free massages and facials.

The festive beauty event was an opportunity for the students to practise the skills they have acquired since September.
