The University's Buxton Faculty Awards Ceremony will now take place on Saturday 26 March 2011 at the Devonshire campus.
Vice-Chancellor Professor John Coyne said: "We apologise again that the original date in December was cancelled.
"The extreme weather affecting the whole of the UK led us to take the difficult decision to postpone, as we did not want to fly in the face of advice that travel should only have been undertaken if absolutely necessary. The safety of our students and their families was our primary concern in this matter."
