This year's programme includes a range of fun and informative activities from bat walks to bowling matches. New projects are also being planned, with community IT classes and an exhibition about Markeaton Brook in the pipeline.
The programme gets off to a flying start this Sunday 8 May with a Dawn Chorus around Derby's West End, led by University scientist Dr Graham Rowe. The walk will start at 5am outside the University's Markeaton Street site, by the mill pond.
