University of Derby Motorcycle Event

On the 6 of October there will be a motorcycling event held at the Kedleston Road site.

If you currently ride a motorcycle or are considering learning to ride, be it for pleasure or as an alternative to the car for commuting to work, come along and see us in the Atrium.

Life-like SImulator!

If you are feeling fast come and take part in our Computer Game, and try and get the best lap time. This simulator is controlled by a life sized motorbike. There may be a prize for the quickest lap times.

There will also be a variety of stands including those from:

  • BikeSafe

BikeSafe is an initiative run by Police Forces around the United Kingdom who work with the whole of the biking world to help lower the number of motorcycle rider casualties. Their representatives will be available throughout the day. Pop along and see them for information and advice, to pick up a free Highway Code or reflective vest, or simply to check out the latest Police motorcycle.

  • Easy Rider Motorcycle Training

A local training school, they will be available to answer any questions, from taking your first steps to learn to ride right through to advanced training.

  • Bob Minion Ltd

The Derby Honda dealer will have several bikes on display and their staff will be on hand to give you advice on the range of motorcycles and clothing on the market today.

Also current members of staff who ride will have their own bikes on display and be available throughout the day for a chat.

We hope to see you there on the day.
