Contact with alumni nationally and internationally, promoting what the University has to offer graduates after they have left and keeping them up to date with all our news.
My background
I've had a range of sales, marketing, finance positions in industry and had my own debt collection business all based locally.
Before I started this role I worked as Development Assistant at Saint Benedict School, Derby for five years helping to raise its profile in the community and funding for capital and other projects. During this time I returned to the University (I left Derbyshire College of Higher Education based at this site in 1985 after studying Business) and gained the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Certificate. I plan to continue to the Diploma level.
