The University of Derby's annual 'Logistics Week' is an event that encourages interaction with global companies including:

Throughout the week there will be daily lectures from members of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK), networking opportunities and an evening lecture from Pierre De Carteret from DHL.
On Thursday 28 February, Dr Ming Lim, (Head of the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement at the Derby Business School) will open the evening's events. Dr Ming Lim will provide an insightful presentation on current developments within RFID (radio frequency identification), and its diverse uses in the Logistics sector. This will be followed by guest speaker Pierre De Carteret, Head of Training at DHL, who will bring a very contemporary perspective from a leading business in the field. Dr Mick Jackson, Chief Executive of Skills for Logistics, will conclude the evening's seminar; reflecting on the presentations and looking to the future.
This free, public sector event on Thursday evening will commence with a complimentary buffet. This time will allow you to network with others interested in the field and to discover more about the research and projects undertaken within the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement.
