How do I become a study advisor?

Would you like to:

  • Help fellow students with their study skills?
  • Gain valuable experience for your CV and PDP?

Do you have:

  • a good academic record?
  • knowledge of how to get the most out of studying?
  • good communication and interpersonal skills?

The library recruits study advisors twice a year in around November and April. We provide a general programme of training, including mentor training.

What else do I need?

You need to:

  • be an undergraduate in the second year of your degree or above, or a postgraduate student.
  • be able to spare two or three hours a week.
