The following e-book Cite them right: the essential guide to referencing guide by Richard Pears and Graham Shields (2010) is a great resource for the Harvard referencing system, as well as OSCOLA and MLA referencing styles. There are also print copies in stock in the libraries, to check availability please refer to the library catalogue.
The Citing and Referencing - Harvard System booklet offers generic examples, there is also a 'Plagiarism and referencing' leaflet in the study skills guides collection.
Some of the subject specific leaflets contain examples relevant to a subject area. They are written by subject librarians.
Important
All the above sources of information provide a general guide to citing and referencing only, so it's important that before submitting any written work you check with your tutor the style required for your assignments.
