ID cards
All University of Derby students are entitled to an ID card.
Whether you are on campus, a distance learning or an online learning student, in the UK or overseas, you are entitled to claim a student ID card.
Why would I need a card?
Your ID card is also your library card, and is needed to borrow any library materials. You will need one before you can register for the postal loan and document delivery services. You will also need it to physically access the Library if you come onto campus.
It is required to prove that you are a student when joining the SCONUL Access scheme and when visiting other libraries.
How do I get a card?
Most ID cards are sent out automatically after enrolment. However, if you do not receive a card you can request one.
To request your ID card, please download the appropriate form below. Enclose a passport-sized photograph and send it to the address given.
Alternatively you can scan a photo and send it with the form to the appropriate email address below.
