Stephenson College
A state-of-the-art college completed in 2005, it is considered to be one of the best designed and up to date colleges in the country, and is renowned for its excellence and innovation in learning.
Students learn in a modern setting and use the most up to date equipment available. The college offers a huge range of courses and qualifications, and provides excellent practical learning opportunities. This is to enable students to realise their aspirations and ambitions and gain the necessary skills to help them fulfil their own individual potential. There is also a comprehensive programme of additional activities available, specifically designed to enrich the students' overall experience at the College.
Higher Education students have access to the brand new, centrally located Higher Education Centre. This is a dedicated facility for Higher Education students and offers flexible access during College opening hours. The facility includes quiet study areas, lecture and seminar rooms and a library.

Enrolment
Students apply to Stephenson College and enrol in September. Student application and enrolment data is forwarded to UoD for input into the UoD Student Records System and a letter providing login details to the University's online virtual learning environment (UDO), web links to the UDo Student Guide (inc useful contacts) and the University's 'Rights, Responsibilities and Regulations' document along with student ID cards are sent to the students.
Assessment
Student results are considered at assessment boards that take place in February and June. The Assessment Board considers student progression and award.
Award Ceremonies
Awarding students are invited to attend the University of Derby Awards Ceremonies which are held in January.
