Photography and images
What do I use it for?
Using photographs and images in teaching can help students engage with the information being delivered and can be a key illustrative device.
Examples include:
- Enriching presentations with interesting imagery
- Illustrating processes or techniques
- Delivering messages in a more visual way than solely text based materials
How can I commission new photography?
The media team can create bespoke photography to include in your online course materials, lectures or academic publications. Images from portraiture to macro photography can be captured on location or in our studio and can really enhance the learning experience of your students.
Where can I find existing images?
You can also access a wide selection of copyright cleared images from image libraries or through our own Flickr site where photographs are free to use for educational purposes.
