Britannia Mill has undergone a £2Million refurbishment, which has seen LEI, Estates and ITS deliver and integrated approach to the design of learning spaces.

Research from previous projects led to the provision of flexible furniture throughout the building and a variety of table shapes to allow both group and individual learning to take place. The audio visual equipment is second to non with the majority of classrooms now enabled to easily record lectures and with the provision of interactivity to all projectors . The project took a holistic approach which has seen the Library, the corridors and linking spaces all refurbished to same high standard with the introduction of glass viewing panels in all classrooms and a schematic approach to colour coding individual floors.
