Plato

A new updated version of PLATO is available for students.

PLATO is an online site, designed to give you a real understanding of what plagiarism means, how to reference correctly and avoid academic offences that go beyond just copying, such as collusion and bad paraphrasing.

The showcase piece of content is a series of 3 comedy/dramas featuring University of Derby Theatre Arts students. Each of the videos centre around a different form of plagiarism and serve to demonstrate them in an interesting but informative way using humorous real life scenarios.

Collusion - Types of Plagiarism (Episode 1 of 3)

Copying - Types of Plagiarism (Episode 2 of 3)

Paraphrasing - Types of Plagiarism (Episode 3 of 3)
