Epson Projectors and Control Panels
What is it
The interactive Epson projector gives you similar functionality to a smart board only without the expensive screen.
You can control the computer from the projection screen using the electronic pens.
You can also have two people draw on the screen symaltainiousaly,
You can highlight areas of a windows application or have a whiteboard with multiple pages.
What do I use it for
With the new interactive projectors the lecturers now have the choice to leave the podium and move around the class dynamically controlling what's on the screen
Lecturers can also draw on the screen with the electronic pens giving them far more control than trying to draw with a mouse.
The projector works with two pens to giving your students access to contribute to the lesson by also drawing on the board.
The interactive white board can have multiple pages so when you board is full you can just create a new page without having to delete anything and being able to go back to the pages when you like.
At the end of the session you can save the session as a PFD and email it to your students. This allows the students to concentrate on what you are saying rather than concentrating on copying down notes.
How do I use it
Many of the recently fitted out classrooms and lecture theatres have been fitted with the Epson interactive projectors. These projectors can be controlled from the console in the classroom like the older projectors, feeding the projector with video feed from the console PC, A laptop, a Blu-ray player or a document camera. This limits the lecturer to standing behind the podium and reduces the ability of the lecturer to be dynamic.
