In Blackboard a folder allows you to organise your content into a more structured format. There is no limit to the amount of folders that can be created and you can have folders within folders.

The Permit Users to view this content option must be set to "Yes" to make the content available, even when using the Select Date and Time Restrictions. Selecting "No" will hide the content from the student. The Track Number of Views option will keep a count of the number of times the folder is accessed. This option can be useful to measure engagement. The Select Date and Time Restrictions option allows the content to be available after a particular date, up until a particular date, or when used together content will be available between the two dates. When the content is out of the available date range it will be hidden from students.
- Finally hit Submit to create the folder
