Wikis are created from within a module content area as follows:
- Open the module and ensure that Edit Mode is turned on as highlighted below.

Open the content area to which you want to add the wiki, e.g. Content.

Hover over Add Interactive Tool and from the drop-down list, click on Wikis

Click on the Create New Wiki button

Complete the form in the screen that is displayed writing the Name and Instructions as necessary, and then select the Yes radio button to make the blog available. Alternatively, set the dates for the availability of the wiki.

Select the options required in sections 3 & 4. NB. Students will not be able to participate on the wiki if Editing and Commenting are closed.

Click the Submit button and you should see the following screen with the newly created wiki highlighted:

- Click the Next button
- Enter Text in the box and select the required options.

Click the Submit button and the content area should be displayed. You should now see your Wiki appended to the list (You may need to scroll down to see it).

Creating a blog entry
1. Click on the link to the wiki from the content area where the wiki was created.
2. Edit the Create Wiki Page form entering the Name of the wiki and the Content.

3. You can add images to your content.
a. Click on the Attach Image icon highlighted in the picture below.

b. Select your image from the relevant location and then click the Submit button.

c. Set the image options in the form presented as desired and then click the Submit button again. NB: This form is presented if the image is selected via Browse My Computer.

d. Your image should now appear in the Content area.

4. Click the Submit button and your wiki entry will be added as in the following example.
