Blogs are created from within a module content area as follows:
- Open the module and ensure that Edit Mode is turned on as highlighted below.

Open the content area to which you want to add the blog, e.g. Study Materials.

Hover over Add Interactive Tool and from the drop-down list, click on Blogs

Click on the Create New Blog button

Complete the form in the screen that is displayed writing the Name and Instructions as necessary, and select the Yes radio button to make the blog available.

Select the options required in the rest of the sections making sure Module radio button is selected in section 4.

Click the Submit button and you should see the following screen:

- Click the Next button
- Enter Text in the box and select the required options.

Click the Submit button and the content area should be displayed. You should now see your blog appended to the list (You may need to scroll down to see it).

Creating a blog entry
1. Click on the link to the blog from the content area where the blog was created.
2. Click on the Create Blog Entry button.

3. Enter the title for the blog and the message in the relevant spaces.
a. You can add images to your blog post by clicking on the Attach imageicon highlighted in the picture below.

i. Select your image from the relevant location and then click the Submit button.

ii. Set the image options in the form presented as desired and then click the Submit button again. NB: This form is presented if the image is selected via Browse My Computer or Browse Module.

iii. Your image should now appear in the Entry Message text area.

b. To attach a file, click on either the Browse My Computer or Browse Module button to navigate to the file.

4. If you would like to revise the message later before posting, click the Save Entry as Draft button.
5. When you are ready to post the message to be viewed publicly, click the Post Entry button.

6. The blog entry will then be added as in the following example.
