Wimba Classroom

Do you want to arrange meetings with your students or deliver lectures online, either direct from your own computer or from a supported quiet environment?

Wimba Classroom is an online meeting tool where video, audio and files can be broadcast to students across the world.

The University of Derby has many different applications for Wimba Classroom these include:

• Lectures
• Tutorials
• Student group work
• A simple 'question and answer' session between tutor and the student
• Office Hours

Wimba Classroom is not just for online students, it has been widely used for on campus students to supplement their on campus activities or to provide an online meeting/social space for the students
