Collaborative learning
Tutors have access to a host of applications which support collaborative learning activities in real-time and at times when students are unable to come together in the same learning space. Web-conferencing applications such as Wimba Classroom, which can be used in online and offline learning environments, are available to support a multitude of learning activities. Wikis, blogs and discussion boards afford users the opportunities to communicate and contribute to ideas at times which suit them.
