Hints and Tips
Since the first use of Grademark, staff have encountered a few problems, listed below are the problems and the best way to solve them.
Grademark is really slow
This is probably because you are using Internet Explorer to access Grademark. We have found that use of a different Internet Browser (Firefox for example) makes marking in Grademark much quicker.
You can install and use Firefox on Staff University PCs:
- Click on the Start Menu
- Click on Run Advertised Programs
A list of software should appear (it might take a few minutes)
- Find and click on Firefox 3.6
- Click on the Run button
Firefox will then install on your computer.
When you come to grade assignments you should now use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
Grademark is still really slow
If are using Firefox and Grademark is still really slow, it could be that your University PC does not have enough memory.
Please Contact IT Services on x1234 and they will investigate.
