Creating a video package and editing techniques 11th December 10.30am - 12pm Facilitator: Matt Howcroft | Following on from 'Filming a video interview and basic camera techniques', this workshop will help you to understand the basics of video editing and enable you to create great looking video packages to be used in your teaching or as promotional material. By the end of the session you will have basic video editing skills and be able to combine video footage with voiceover to create a simple instructional or informative film. |

It will discuss the importance of students developing a professional digital presence and how social media plays a key role in this process. |

Creating multimedia learning content 27th February 1-3pm Facilitator: Charlie Davis et al | This session explores how a range of digital resources can be used to create engaging artefacts which reflect the dynamic nature of modern communication. It will provide examples of how staff within UoD have been using a range of technologies to create content containing images, sounds, moving images and text-based formats. |
