LTAC-2009
Held on Thursday 9th July 2009
The theme of the conference was around the changing role of academic practice and Continuing Professional Development, and celebrated all aspects of Teaching Quality Enhancement Fund (TQEF) and other Learning Teaching & Assessment-related work we have been engaged in over the past few years.
Barbara Dexter, Quality Enhancement Manager at the University, said: "The conference was an enjoyable and valuable day with lots of learning and involved a range of collaborative and international partners.
"We will be able to use the learning in the classroom for the benefit of our students and it was also useful for networking, making contacts and sharing ideas."
Thanks went to Matt Cox and Helen Toller of LEI who were responsible for the event organisation.
The overall theme of the conference was 'Enhancing Academic Practice' and included 35 workshops, 70 poster presentations and exhibition stands from LIS, Career Development Centre, Student Support & Information Services, the Response Journal and various Faculty colleagues across the University. Overall feedback was excellent. Next year's conference is on 8 July 2010.
