LTAC-2007
Held on Monday 2nd July 2007
Around 300 people participated in the conference, up from 170 last year, including colleagues from partner institutions in the UK and abroad, and colleagues from other Universities in the Midlands.
The Vice Chancellor opened the conference, after which the opening plenary, on students' views of assessment, was led by Dr David Baume, a Higher Education consultant. There followed 32 one hour workshops on a range of LTA issues, especially assessment, and there were also 56 posters and 8 displays on show. The work of Teaching Fellows, and Teaching Informed by Research award holders, featured prominently.
The feedback from the conference illustrated how successful it was and once again also a great networking opportunity.
