Working in partnership with the careers team

Academics are key influencers of students and have an important role to play in improving students' and graduates' employability.

We have developed a Partnership Agreement which details our commitment and offer to every Academic School, as well as actions we hope Schools will take.

All careers advisers are linked to subjects and schools; they are experts in the career destinations of graduates from those subjects. They are in touch with employers, and know and understand current recruitment methods used by employers. They meet regularly with School representatives to discuss the employability agenda as well as the offer of workshops to support curriculum delivery.
