- as part of the 2011-12 season of law talks in conjunction with the wide-ranging work of the University's Law in Society Research Group.

About the talk

Personal information sharing across and beyond the criminal justice system in England and Wales has been repeatedly acknowledged as a conflicted issue in need of a more certain and transparent legal 'framework' or 'landscape'.

The competing interests are those of personal privacy and the wider issues of public protection.

This talk is free and open to everyone.
