- More about SRA CPD requirements
Derby is now accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to offer courses that practising solicitors can engage with to satisfy their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
What courses are available?
You can choose any module from our LLM programme suite to suit your interests or area of expertise. All have been accredited by the SRA.
Completing one module will satisfy your CPD requirements for one year.
Each module involves 2 hours teaching per week, plus individual study.
When will I study?
You can choose to study in class at Derby, or online. Whichever is best for you.
- If you're studying at Derby this means attending 12 separate lectures in a 12-week semester. See class times on the module descriptions.
- If you're studying online you can study at a time, pace and place that's convenient for you.
When can I start?
You can start in January or September of each year. Each module takes 12 weeks to complete.
How much does it cost?
If you're starting in January, the costs for 2011-12 academic year are:
- Studying at Derby - £285 per module
- Studying online - £500 per module
