Proud to be at Derby

My time at Derby University has been very memorable and I am proud to say that I have studied at one of the top law schools in the UK. Having now commenced the Legal Practice Course, I can say with certainty that the University of Derby really does prepare you well for a future career in law.

Prepared for the future

The most beneficial aspect on the course is the opportunity to practice legal skills. I have found that having studied at Derby; I am far more prepared for the challenges of the legal practice course than students from other institution.

A great achievement

I was really shocked to hear that I had won the law prize for the second year. My final year at Derby was very busy, and I worked hard to combine studying with working part time and also volunteering. I would not have achieved this award without the excellent support and encouragements from both my fellow students and the lecturing staff. It has been a pleasure to study at Derby. Thank you to all the lecturing staff for your continued support and I wish the class of 2010 and all current and future students, every success in your future careers.
