What is included?
This is a two week residential course held from Saturday 3 August to Sunday 18 August 2013 at our Derby Campus. You will develop English language and academic skills, and experience university life in Britain. The course is aimed at students over the age of 18.
Included in the trip are:
- Classroom lessons based at our Derby Campus. We have professionally qualified teaching staff, experienced in English language courses
- Cultural visits to London and Chatsworth stately home to practice some of the language skills you have learnt
- Accommodation in our halls of residence - these are self catering apartments close to the Derby Campus sites with 24 hour security. Each room has a bed, wardrobe, desk, telephone and internet connection
- Airport transfers at the beginning and end of the course
- Lunch vouchers when on campus to use at a choice of places to eat
- Return Unibus tickets for each day you're required to be at the main university site - these buses run regularly between the city centre, halls of residence and the Derby Campus
- Support from our International Student Centre for visa, welfare and general questions about living and studying in Derby.
How much will this course cost?
The cost per person is £950. In addition to this you will need to book your own flights and ensure you have the correct travel and medical insurance, visas and spending money.
What will you study?
Classes are fun and enjoyable with a focus on learning. The lessons are tailored, as far as possible, to meet the interests and needs of the class. It includes around 20 teaching hours per week.
