Merit based partial scholarships

For undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students we have a number of merit based partial scholarships for £3000 or £2000 available for international students starting their on campus course in January 2017.

These scholarships are available to apply for once you have applied to the University. You must be a full time international (outside the EU) taught student in the first year of your study at the University of Derby.

If you are successful, either £2000 or £3000 will be deducted from your tuition fees. There are also a number of individual scholarships available for particular courses which become available throughout the year.

The deadline for receipt of January 2017 scholarship applications is 20 December 2016.

Please note you cannot apply for a scholarship unless you have received an offer of a course from the University and any applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. This offer cannot be used with any other promotion.

 

Sports scholarship and bursaries scheme

With a significant investment in high class facilities, sport science expertise and performance level coaches we are attracting more and more talented performers.  In order to support these athletes and their development we introduced a Sports Scholarships scheme in 2015. We therefore aim to provide scholarship opportunities to assist talented individuals realise their sporting potential and support them through their academic studies.

A new sponsor letter is required at the start of each academic year. The new academic year always begins in September.
